Midtown Shopping
Midtown has the big, iconic department stores like SAKs Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Bloomingdales. Most of these stores have complimentary personal shopping services. You have to call ahead and make an appointment, but they will help you find anything special you are shopping for.
A new shop in Manhattan is PRINTEMPTS at One Wall Street, the iconic Paris luxury shop for fashion and beauty. It opened March 2025 and is quite the store. Definitely worth a trip downtown if only to look and not to buy.

There are several Korean skincare and makeup shops an area of the city known as Koreatown (K-town). I have been to several of these. I didn't know what I was buying but the young women working there helped me with a selection of inexpensive facial masks and skin care products.
