Flea Markets
I love looking around the flea markets which are usually held over weekends. These have changed some over the past few years since I've been shopping at these. I have to check out the times and locations each time I go since these keep changing.
Chelsea Flea Market (W 25th bet Broadway and 6th Ave) Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00 - 5:00 year round; I love this market for vintage and ephemera for collaging.
*Grand Bazaar NYC (100 W 77th St) Every Sunday; I remember spying Bernadette Peters here once selecting a pair of earrings! This market is back full steam since covid. A favorite flea market.
Brooklyn Flea ( Saturdays and Sundays in DUMBO at 80 Pearl St, Brooklyn, April - December) I love this flea market; it's big with lots of food options.
Smorgasburg Giant, all food market; several locations; do a google search for locations and hours
Union Square Green Market (Union Square) is not a flea market but, obviously a green market. It has beautiful fresh vegetables but also soaps and other hand-made items. I one purchased fresh cranberries for my Thanksgiving cranberry sauce and cornmeal to take home in my luggage. I can always find something here to take home and enjoy!
